Lovers' Eyes

Lovers' Eyes were Georgian miniatures, normally watercolour, often worn as jewellery, depicting the eye or eyes of a spouse, loved one, or child.
Experts believe there are fewer than 1000 of these eye miniatures that have survived.
Most were created between the 18th and 19th centuries by wealthy British and European lovers.
